I’ve always loved animals and grew up surrounded by them. I’m originally from Pennsylvania, but after graduating from College of Charleston in 2016, Charleston always felt like home. I eventually made my way back, and now I get to spend my days doing two of my favorite things—being outside and hanging out with dogs.

Porch & Pup really started because I wanted this kind of dog care for myself. Whenever I traveled, I found it surprisingly hard to find someone I completely trusted with my dog—someone reliable and responsible, but also someone who genuinely LOVES dogs. Sloppy kisses, dog hair and all.

So I decided to create it myself.

I built a small local team of fellow dog people who feel the same way. Give us the hyper dogs, the puppies, the old puppers, and the big dogs who think they’re lap dogs. We’re here for the walks, the playtime, and especially the snuggles.

Basically, we love dogs—and we’ll love yours like one of our own.
